NICRA-Vocational Training

Few glimpse of 5 days vocational training on "Fisheries based integrated farming system" under NICRA (National innovation in climate resilient agriculture)-TDC held at KVK, Nalbari where 20 numbers of farmers from NICRA -TDC project adopted village (Nadala) participated. The objective of the training was to create and promote integrated farming system model in the village. The training also prioritised on Natural Resources management, Crop, Livestock, fish production and its integration. The program featured hands on demonstration of banana pseudostem silage production, mushroom and vermi compost production. The various sessions of the training was led by experts from KVK, Nalbari, Department of A H & Veterinary, Department of Fisheries, College of Horticulture and FSR and various progressive and awarded farmers of the district.
